Skills and Abilities Guide

How to Unlock Abilities in Wolfenstein: Youngblood

Whenever you level up in Wolfenstein: Youngblood you will unlock a Skill point. It is these Skill points which are then used to unlock new abilities. This Skills and Abilities Guide will tell you everything you need to know about them.

There are 44 different abilities in Wolfenstien: Youngblood and they are separated into three categories which target a different area - Mind, Muscle, and Power. These three branches have four tiers of abillities which become unlocked when you reach a certain level in the game. Tier two is unlocked at level 10, tier three at level 20, and tier four at level 40.

Mind skills

These abilities focus on movement, finding things, and your health. There are four upgrade trees:

• 1st Row

These abilities focus on interacting with your character during revives and Pep Signals.

• 2nd Row

These abilities increase your max health.

• 3rd Row

These abilities focus on looting and finding things. The first three tiers increase the amount of ammo, health, and armour enemies drop. The fourth tier adds collectibles to your mini map.

• 4th Row

These abilites are mostly about movement. These include adding a rapid sidestep, increasing your speed while crouched, increasing the radius for automatically picking up items as you run over them, and adding an automatic reload to non-equipped weapons.

Muscle Skills

These abilities mostly focus on fighting — armour, weapons, and toughness. There are four upgrade trees:

• 1st Row

These abilities increase your max armour.

• 2nd Row

These abilities increase how much ammo you can carry (the third tier increases the amount of damage a grenade can do).

• 3rd Row

These abilities make thrown weapons more dangerous. The first tier lets you take down tougher enemies with a silent takedown. The second and fourth tier add speed and damage to thrown melee weapons. The third tier increases the number of thrown weapons you can carry.

• 4th Row

These abilities enable you to carry the heavy weapons dropped by supersoldiers. The second tier lets you move faster while carrying them. The third tier lets you put them into your gun pocket (weapon wheel). The fourth tier keeps you from getting knocked down.

Power Skills

The trees in this category focus on either your Cloak or Crush ability (depending on which one you chose) and increase the effectiveness of that ability. Late in the game once you have completed all three Brother Tower raids a third Power called God Key will become unlocked which is an interdimensional gateway opener.
