Donkey Kong

Donkey Kong is back. While he may not have an endless arsenal of barrels, he does have powerful melee attacks that will rock you. He's relatively heavy and has a similar recovery as Bowser. Donkey Kong is available from the start of the game and he doesn't need to be unlocked.

Pros: Powerful melee. Long reach.

Cons: No range attacks. Poor recovery.

Smash: Kongo Beat - DK spawns two drums and plays a Kongo Jungle tune. At each beat, press the attack button to create an area of effect burst that intensifies with each successful beat. DK is invincible during the smash attack.
