As most people know, the Flipside and Flopside Pit of 100 Trials can both be very difficult. And due to the high number of enemies you could face, it's good to be prepared for the worst. But don't go spending 300 coins per Ultra Shroom Shake (restores 50HP/cures poison) at Notso's shop in Flopside. Instead, make an Emergency Ration (restores 10HP/cures poison... BUT in the Pit, restores 50HP/Cure poison) at Dyllis's kitchen. If you get the ingredients (1. Shroom Shake, 2. Fire Burst) in Flipside, you'll pay a total of 50 coins for one of them. However, you can get the same ingredients at the shop in Yold Town (Chapter 1-2) for only 18 coins! I recommend buying 5 of each, so that you'll have 250HP worth of recovery items--provided you use them in either Pit of 100 Trials-- for 90 coins total. Also, if you are going to the Flopside pit, I would advise getting a Life Shroom or two (50 coins each in Yold Town Shop) just in case.
