I cannot for the life of me find where the hardwood is! Please tell me where it is with excruciating detail. Thanks a bundle!

I know the feeling, it took me ages to learn where/how to find the hardwood. First, have you crafted a Stone Axe? If yes, then...well, there's not really a way to tell where it is in excruciating detail. I would recommend going to the Deep Jungle (Shipwreck Island), as that is where I went the first time I searched for hardwood. Find the somewhat large trees (there are about five of them in the jungle). When you walk up to them, it will simply say "Harvest Hardwood." Click, and there you go! (I hope that was helpful, my apologies if you knew that already.)
