If you are referring to Rupees, then you can carry far more than 30 because one of your first purchases will be an Extra Wallet that costs 100 Rupees. Rupees can be found everywhere. Run/dash into certain trees and Rupees will fall to the ground. Slice up pumpkins and Rupees appear. Help-out others and they will pay Link with Rupees.
