Question for The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword
Can I save and quit while in a boss fight? My batteries were dying and I didn't know how to get out.

No. You may only save at a Bird Statue. There is never a Boss fight that has a Bird Statue in the battlefield. What you can do is temporarily pause the game to change the batteries in your Wii Remote.
