I tried to play on brawl recently and when I put the disk in my Wii kept on trying to read the disk and then saying there was no disk.
If anyone knows why this happens please answer.

This happened to me a few years ago. You see over time the laser light in the wii that reads disks becomes weaker but that does not matter for most games but there are 2 wii games that are different for other wii games and those games are super smash bros brawl and metroid prime trilogy. You see super smash bros brawl and metroid prime trilogy have so much data on them that it takes a strong laser light to read it. You should do what I did call nintendo send them your wii and they will fix it by making the laser light stronger.
