Lag

Question asked by sammyigor on

Lag

Almost every single time I connect to the WFC and play with anyone, it's always very slow. Not just a little slow but it takes 10 seconds to make the move after I press the button. I called Nintendo four times and all they said was that it depended on the persons internet connection. On any other game it works fine. This really annoys me. Anything similar happened to you? Does anyone know what the heck to do? Please answer.

Chances are you're facing someone who lives on another continent. If you do, the lag is extremely bad. Super Smash Bros. Brawl does not have good WiFi, I'm afraid. I gave up on it a long time ago, as the same thing kept on happening to me.

Only thing I can recommend is connecting your wii wired to your router, that helps online quite a bit.if you already did that it is out of your hand.also,I have the same problems so don't worry, just play with people in your region, that reduces a lot of lag also

MenaceSG answered:

They're right. The speed of your match depends on the connection of not only your internet, but the internet of the people you are playing against. The only thing you could do is figure a way to speed up your connection such as place your router on the same floor as your Wii. It happens to me all the time, that's why I never play Brawl online
