I am in level three I think and I am at this grey pole and it is tellling me to press minus and 1 at the same time and I did that and nothing is happening. What the heck do I do? Am I doing it wrong or something? It just keepss going to the controller option.

Its easy,as it says in the note on the statue (grey pole) your by you go out of the room and find a blue platform once you find that you press 1 and - at the same time and see what happens from there.
