It says ju8mp and push A to climb wall. The A button is the jump button and when I jump and repush A all I do is slide down the wall

To successfully complete a Wall Jump, it will take god timing. When you jump of the wall, you must click the A Button at the right time to do a Wall Jump. It can be a little tricky at first, but you should master it in no time at all. Practice makes perfect.

To do a wall jump, you need to press A at the right timing as you jump up to the wall. Then if you manage to do a wall jump, repeat the same thing & wall jump all the way up wherever you need to get to.
