How do you get un the church ? Do you have toget in the boat and kill the creature ?

Yes. At least, that's part of it. The quest for the Insignia extends past that, but you do have to kill the Del Lago (creature in the lake) to continue on with the game.
To kill it, you have to throw harpoons at it. Throwing them into his mouth is the most effective, and you are forced to do that at some points anyway or he'll knock you off the boat. After splintering him with enough harpoons, he'll kick the bucket.

shoot the water haha do it...just keep going forward youll eventually find yourself back there and youll have the key for the church dont forget the pipe in the tree where after you run from the rock again tho its alot of moneyIf you are still looking for help with this game we have more questions and answers for you to check.
