Ammo Conservation

To conserve ammo don't get the shotgun until the bell rings.
If you get the shotgun before the bell rings the chainsaw guy comes and you waste all your ammo on him.
So if you don't get the shotgun the chainsaw guy wont come

Also, if you see boxes, cut them with your knife, not your gun. And use your knife to kill some enemies.

What I like to do is put a bullet in the enemies knee caps so they kneel down, stunned. This leaves you open for a kick to the face. Once that's been done, they will be on the ground for a few seconds. Start knifing the crap out of them and they should die. This is a good way to save ammo throughout the game. I'v beat the game many many times and I'v always noticed that you tend to get really dry on ammo after fighting Vertigo, Salaszar's right hand man in the sewers.

Vertigo Is Pretty Easy Actually. Just Get A Rocket Launcher Before The Fight, Then When He Comes, Freeze Him By Knocking Down A Freezy Tank Thingy, Then Blast Him. Sometimes Hes Still Alive, So Shoot Him With The Broken Butterfly. P.S. This Is The Normal Mode Way. For The Pro Mode You Need To

Make Sure You Have The Special Suit 2 On, And Do It All Over Again.

P.S.S. Sometimes You Run Out Of B.B. Bullets, So If So, Shoot Him With A Rifle While Hes Frozen. Rifle Is The Strongest (Maybe) But Slowest.

I would reccommend shooting the zombies in the face.Then,kicking.Then,knifing on the ground unlike what Papa Stalin said.Because if you shoot them in the face it should do more damage at least it would hurt more if you got shot in the face instead of the leg or knee cap.

Here's what I do to save ammo: I sometimes shoot zombies in the knees to get them there knees then I do the suplex wich sometimes breacks there head of or I soot them in the face and kick them so they would fall then I nife them untill they die.P.S I,v passed the game more than 8 times right now I'm having trubble with PRO mode.

To conserve ammo, use whatever gun you have, shooting at the head, or legs. If you shoot them in the legs, they will fall down.But just because they fall down doesn't mean there dead. If they fall down and you aim you'r gun at them, and the cursor is red, bend down, and knife them. If you buy the TMP when you get to the first merchant, you can go crazy with you'r bullets, as long as there's an enemy there. And look in cabenets. Sometimes there will be ammo in them.
