Question for Mystery Case Files: The Malgrave Incident

How do you get over the water in the general store in South Street? I only have a plank and a pitchfork in my bag, and it won't let me use either of them on the swordfish hanging over it...

You won't be able to cross that water until you achieve the bull whip. Once you have that use it on the swordfish suspended to swing across.
