You press buttons 1 or 2 and b all at the same time

Press Z on a nunchuck and throw. Most likely it will throw to the right base.

I tried both of those ^ and they didn't work. But I just figured it out. You press Z and C at the same time (on the nunchuck) to step off the rubber. Then you throw to your base like you would as a fielder.
