How do you use the red bricks that you buy at Eeylops? I've got a load of them, but cannot activate them. Please help.

Once you've bought them, go to the pause menu and Extras, it will tell you which brick does what and you can turn on each ability

IN my experience these turn themselves off when you turn off the game. YOu have to go back and redo every time.
