What's the real point of the game? What do rainbows have to do with farming? I'm confuzzled...

Who cares - if you like playing the game just play it. You can cross the rainbows plus they make life easier.
The point of the game is to free the harvest goddess. The rainbows don't really have much to do with farming. They just help you free the harvest goddess. Along the way though, you can farm, ranch, fish, mine, go on dates, marry, and even have a kid! I hope I could help!!!
