what are the heart events

I need to know because I read someware that you had to get them a item but he never asked and I talked to him every day so can someone tell me the heart events and why he dident ask for a item

Heart Events? I beileve your talking about the Fireworks and things like that to boost your hearts with people. But no if this is what you're talking about you don't have to get them a present. You have to have a certain amount of hearts for the guy to ask you. You ask him the day of the event (i.e. Firefly event, Fireworks). ^.^ I hope I helped you!

You don't have to get anyone a present, but it really helps to. You need 100 heart points to have someone gain a full heart. Every time you talk to that person they gain 5 heart points(only 5 points a day). If you give that person a gift they LOVE they will gain 10 heart points and they won't accept any more gifts that day. If you give a person a gift that they like they will gain 8 heart points and if you give them another gift they like they will gain 2 more heart points totaling 10 heart points. You can get a total of 15 heart points a day, so as you can see, gifts help a ton in raising heart levels and it makes raising heart levels much easier.
