Blue Feather

Once you have your "love interest" up to 8 hearts, Hamilton will come to your house on a sunny or cloudy day and tell you about a blue bird whose feathers are used in marriage proposals. Then, you just have to wait for about a week for a sunny day, and the bird will fly over your farm in the morning, up toward the falls. Follow it, and you will find the feather on the ground. Before you can use it to propose, you must complete the challenge/request issued at 6 hearts.

In winter of year 2, the mayor tells you about it, and a few days later you'll see the blue bird fly to caramel falls, and you'll find it there. At least thats how I found it, it might differ from were you live.

The answers above me are not true.You can receive the blue feather anytime of the year.But you need to complete all of the heart events including the challenge/request and have 8 hearts then the mayor will come and tell you about the blue bird then in one week on a sunny day walk outside your house and there will be a cutscene of the blue bird flying towards caramel falls.Go to caramel falls and you will have a cutscene when you get the blue feather.But be warned the person you love will refuse the blue feather if you do not have a double bed in your house.

First. Then give the feater to the girl then you get married to that girl .

To get the blue feather, you first need to have the person you want to marry up to 8 hearts. And also have a double bed placed in your house. And you need to have done the events for this person. Then, on the day after those have all been done, Hamilton will come to your door and tell you about the blue feather, about a week later, when you walk outside in the morning (a sunny morning) a blue bird flys down to the falls, follow it and get the feather.

Have 8 hearts and complete all events then Hamilton will tell you about the blue feather then a week later it should be flying across your house then follow it to caramel falls then pick it up

To get the blue feather, get 10 hearts with the bachelor/bachlelorette you want to marry. Soon enough, Mayor Hamilton will visit your house and tell you that you must give the blue feather to the one you love or something like that. Then, you'll get a cutscene some other day after the Mayor talks with you. The blue feather drifts off to the Waterfall thingy in Caramel River District. Walk across the rocks and find the blue feather somewhere in there. Yeah (sorry it's been a while since I last saw that cutscene). Anyways... Give the blue feather to that special person of yours and you'll get married on the date that Mayor Hamilton and you choose. And yeah! Blue feather...! Thats all there is to it... Its kinda boring...
