The following features become available when you beat the game on the indicated setting.

Unlock Tsugu-Min:

This female android becomes an available option when you beat the game on Easy difficulty setting.

Unlock Plissken:

This lizard man becomes an available option when you beat the game on the Normal difficulty setting.

Unlock Nightmare Mode:

This tough difficulty setting becomes an available option when you beat the game on the Hard difficulty setting. In this mode any enemy that is destroyed will shoot a blue ring in your direction.
