Introduction

This is a sports game, the first real home game that you have to swing your arms and manipulate the remote to see yourself moving in the game, yes the one and only Wii Sports!!! Wii Sports comes packed with the Wii but it could easily survive as a self-standing game. Reviews generally show you what is good and bad about the games to see if you will buy them or not but as this comes with the Wii I felt like making a review anyway. Well here is the review.

Graphics

The graphics are unique to Nintendo and they make it look really good. You can create a Mii which you then use to play Tennis, Baseball, Bowling, Golf or Boxing. All games are good in there own way but I like the finer points of detail. Miis may look basic but it's that basic approach that makes you happy to play with the guy you made right down to the shape of his nose. The other details in the game are great as well. Like in Tennis Training area 3 when you hit the ball against the bricks they eventually dissapear. And the way in baseball how if you hit a ball behind you it can come rowling back to you. All in all, the graphics are classy and refined and I for one are a fan.

Sound

I really like the sound, the golf track made the perfect noise just like a real golf track. In tennis when you swung the racket there was this whooshing sound. I always find sound the hardest subject to review because I like all music and sounds (except my bro singing). Anyway the sound is very good I just find it hard to explain.

Gameplay

This is probably the first game you will play on the Wii and as it is the first game to use real moves with the controller I am giving it a 10. This is the first game of it's kind to use this type of gameplay and I love it. It is lots of fun and a new experience. Moving the Wiimote as a racket, swinging it like a bat, jabbing like a glove it doesn't matter. It is fun no matter what you are doing, just make sure you are doing something!

Lastability

This game can last a pretty long time because of the new way to play, try to get the platinum medals, multi-player and try to get to pro position but it is'nt a long last game. Don't get me wrong it is not like you have a choice, it comes with the Wii, and it is very fun and lasts a long time. It is just that it doesn't last forever. As I said before you can get platinum medals. To get these you have to do really well in training mode, and that is fairly hard to do. This game can last a long time, you should just know that it doesn't last forever, like any game.

Overall

A very fun game I am psychic so I know that you will get this game (lol little joke). It is a very fun game and I advice you to... Not throw it away but play it. I hope you do play it because if you don't it is just a waste of a game but then again Japan doesn't include it I think. If for some reason you are from Japan and you buy a Wii I strongly advise you to get Wii Sports. Well that is my review finished. Hope to do another review. :D
