Introduction

Wii play is a game that comes with a wiimote and includes 9 mini games. These are Duck Hunt, Find Mii, Table Tennis, Pose Mii, Laser Hockey, Billiards, Fishing, Charge and Tanks. All of these games are fun the first time and are designed to teach you how to use the Wiimote, which is why the wiimote is included. The question is is this game worth that extra $10 or are you better off, saving the money and putting it towards a game like Twilight Princess. I say yes because it does it's job well and some of the games can be a little bit fun. It also introduces a medal system (like in Wii Sports) that make you want to receive them because they give you a feeling of satisfaction. So I will know try to show you why I say yes to getting this game.

Graphics

The graphics are really well done because of the back to basics Mii's and the simplicity of the drawings. I love these so I am giving Wii Play an 8 for graphics. Graphics are important in a game, but having good graphics doesn't make a game. It has to be fun and enjoyable and this is where Sony and Microsoft are blinded. Nintendo has seen with a vision of truth how games should be played and they have done it well. The graphics might not be sparkling but they look good to me, and anyone who knows whats really in a video game.

Sound

The sound... Wii play wasn't too good in the section of sound. In Table Tennis the sound of a hitting a ball could get extremely annoying after you try to get the gold medal multiple times... And fail. Some of the sounds are good though. I like the sounds in Charge and Pose Mii coz they are all right and catchy. Doo do do daa da da laaa-diiii-dah. No please, don't run away screaming...am i really that bad... :( . Hmmm I can't think of anything else to say for this section.

Gameplay

I have to say 7 for this section because it teaches you about the wiimote and helps you understand it's limitations. The games are kind of fun as well... But they are not something that I would want to rush home to play it. The best game is by far tanks because it uses the nunchuck and just coz it's so cool. All of the games are cool (kind of) though but my least favorite has to be Table Tennis. I just find it boring and way to easy although all of them are fairly easy. Well I am finished with gameplay, lets move onto Lastability.

Lastability

This game won't last very long but it can make a bit of an amusing game in two player. It also includes medals which are mildly hard to get, depending on how good you are at gaming. Even with these added extras the game still lasts very little time but you couldn't expect much more. I mean it's just teaching you to use the wiimote and and have a bit of fun with a couple of games. I'm not saying it's going to be thrown into the corner and become covered with dust. I am just saying it is not going to last as long as any other game on the Wii. So Lastibility is as a matter of fact a very short game.

Overall

Overall, this is definitely a game worth getting. I mean look at the price, it is a measly $10. That is less then an $11.00 gift voucher ( :D ) so I don't know what can go through your mind not to get it. It may be the worst game out on Nintendo so far, but it is very good and what does that say about Nintendo. A lot. It says Nintendo takes a lot of pride and love (awww) into it's work. It finishes it until the end. And it is the only console out to have Wii play. So my advice... Get Wii Play.
