Introduction

When I picked up a copy of wii play, I just got it for the bundled controller, since only having one controller meant SHARING it, blegh. I was happy to find it a few days ago, and I immeadiately popped it into my wii, just to try it out. I was expecting a game just like wii sports. I was surprised by how much better Wii Play was thatn wii sports.

Graphics

The graphics are stunning for a cheap controller-bundled game. Wii sports uses the miis again, and they look sightly superior to the wii sports miis. From the mesmerizing backgrounds of Pose Mii to the toy world of Tanks!, you'll be happy with the visuals nintendo implanted in it.

Sound

Wii play's sound quality in it's games is great, but two games don't contain any background music at all. These two are Shooting range and Find Mii. When playing with no music, it feels very forboding. That's why there isn't any music in the semifinal boss of Pokemon coloseum. The closest thing to music in find mii is the sound of the ocean. Besides that, the sound is crystal clear, and the music fits every level: it's fast-paced in table tennis, futuristic in laser hockey, and just relaxing for fishing, Plus, Tanks' cute theme song is unforgettable.

Gameplay

Wii play really puts you in the game. From steering steers in charge to playing billiards with your wii-mote, you'll be prepared for hours of intimate gameplay! Parents enjoy the thrill of shooting range, and just can't get enough of it, because they missed Duck Hunt :D. Wii play uses the wii remote in so many ways ( I think nine ) you'll be having the time of your life!

Lastability

I can't ever get tired of any of these games. Shooting range is fun every time. I just love to see the ducks get stunned and to watch my miis scramble when they try to avoid getting abducted by aliens. It's also fun to play Find Mii over and over and over again, because it's different every time! Try playing Find mii with a Micheal Jackson Mii on your wii, that adds even MORE fun XD. The best part of Wii play is the two-player mode, which can never, and will never get old, especially playing with your parents..

Overall

Being bundled with a controller, I wasn't expecting much from wii play, I just expected it to be a collection of funless minigames with one or two exceptions. I was wrong, all nine games are excellent, and I would pay at least thirty dollars for this game without the controller. If you need a controller and you don't have a copy of wii play, buy one! NOW!
