Riverside - Abyss of Agony

Abyss of Agony - Stage 1

Send all three of your characters into the water and navigate toward the grassy area at the top-center section. Pick up an item for each person then begin seeking out the four switches to be activated, so that the big wooden gate opens to grant you passage to the TriForce gateway.

Abyss of Agony - Stage 2

Use water pillars to send your characters up the ledges. Once all three people reach the top of the waterfall, a horde of monsters will appear and must be defeated to proceed. Again, use water pillars to stun enemies and attack them with melee weapons. Head to the gateway afterward.

Abyss of Agony - Stage 3

Take two characters up to the water wheel and have them step on the platform. The remaining character should then use the water rod to turn the wheel to move the platform to the far left. There are two orb switches that must be shot with arrows as the platform moves so hit them to unblock a passage for later. Once the two characters are on the ledge overlooking the water wheel, send the hero that was left behind and step on the platform to rejoin the others. Repeat the same process at the next wheel then hit the switch to activate the block elevator. Continue upward to the gateway.

Abyss of Agony - Stage 4

What we have here is another Buzz Blob for a boss, and it can be defeated in the same way as before. Shoot the red core with arrows, stacking characters as the enemy rises to keep up. Once it reaches its highest point, you'll to totem a pair of heroes and have them stand on the lower ledges on the upper section of the area. Stay out of the water when the boss electrifies it and avoid the move away from the stream of electricity it sends your way. Use the water rod to toss the Blob back up when it goes underwater. Pick up the rupees and head for the gateway afterward.
