Introduction

The Legend of Zelda: Phantom hourglass is The sequel to The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker, and pretty much follows that. In the beginning, Tetra (Zelda), boards the mysterious Ghost Ship in search of overflowing treasure. The crew tries to convince her not to go, but she does. A scream is heard, and Link attempts to board the ship, but slips and falls in the ocean.
As Link is accompanied by Linebeck, a "fearless" sailor, they sail to find the Ghost Ship.

Graphics

In the Legend of Zelda: Phantom hourglass, the graphics were very well planned out throughout the whole game. Almost everything was three-D, and the Tilt and Depth were of the highest quality of most DS console games. Lots of time were spent working on even the smallest of details, including the ever so popular, seaguls. There were a couple things here and there, but overall, Excellent work!

8/10

Sound

Excellent quality. The sounds really "pop" out when you play the game, to make it sound reallistic. You can even here the echos in caves and dungeons, making it favorable. The sword has great sound effects as you swing and hit something. Very nice work.

Gameplay

I'll rate this in segments, as all my reviews:
1)The game is controlled entirely by the touch screen and Mic. It has very quick response time, and can really brings out the true qualities of the touch screen
2)Difficulty-Overall, the game is not an extremely hard game. In fact, as a Zelda game, I'd give difficulty a 7.5/10
3)Dungeons-Fair amount of puzzles and fun boss fights. Again, not very hard, but very decent.
4)Items-Very good items. Even if you may not like the game, the weapons cover all that up. The boomerang is controlled by drawing a path on the screen, for example.

Lastability

Compared to other games, not very difficult, as mentioned above. As for Zelda games, good, not great. The use of the weapons is very creative, and although not a challenging game, you will get caught up in the weapons and won't really care so much about the flaws of the game.

Overall

Overall, this was a very good game, and although I wouldn't call it a classic, it will make a good impression. This game is worth the price, and has a very good story, not to mention unique controls. The game has lasting quality, and if you are a big Zelda fan, you'll love it.

Great! 9/10!
