Welcome to my evaluation for the number one Role-Playing game:
"The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion"
In this review I will examine every aspect of this game and why people are ranting on about it. This game held it's arms out wide and called for me to buy an XBox 360, and I did. It's fairly easy to say that Bethesda have created a master piece in this game. There is not one problem with it!
Graphics in this game are absolutely spectacular. The detail is immense. Simply one of the most advanced games youll see graphic wise. Because of the spell system in the game, the graphics for the spells have to be attractive, and they are. Everything in this game is carved to perfection. Youd have to venture far to find a tweak. In my many hundred hours of gameplay I only noticed the odd problem such as:
Hey, I can jump through that rock.
And
I walked into a transparent tree!
You will not find better graphics in an Role-playing game for a very long time, trust me.
The audio in "The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion" isn't all that great. It's a very strange game when it comes to music etc. It's a constant switch between a few different tunes. Some for while you are in a state of combat, some for when you are just walking about town. The sound effects are what save the game in the "Sound" section of this review. When you fire an arrow into a wooden table you get the exact noise you expect to hear. When you fire an arrow at something tougher, you get that original "Clank!" as you would in real-life. Obviously the sound effects have a little bit of tweaking needed, the odd wooden table has a "clank" etc. But other than that they are fine.
The ability to change every aspect of the sound is also very effective. You can lower or raise almost everything that makes a noise!
Well... You can enter every building in the game. What does that say?
Amazing, completely amazing. How the **** we can do everything I just don't know. You can travel anywhere, enter every single building, talk to everyone that isn't suicidal and much more!
The gameplay is outstanding... Unbeatable!
Will last for ever, almost! This is easily one of the most addictive games on the market at the moment and i'm pretty sure it will stay active in your games pile for a long, long time. After you complete the game that's when boredom may start to kick in and you will probably have done everything there is to do. (Although it takes a while, trust me.)
When that happens just do pointless stuff. Let's face it, no game is going to last years, is it?
A definate must-get for role-playing fans. There is millions more to say about the game because it is so good but I would have very sore fingers if I was to type it out. I'm not being bias because I went out and bought the game, I'm being honest.
You MUST get it.
