• Upgrade the Generator Early

Collect Gasoline during the day and take it back to your base. Use it to upgrade the Generator, which opens more areas of the map. This also gives you access to better loot, so look for Gasoline early instead of spending too much time fighting zombies.

• Get Back to Base Before Night

Use the daytime to collect Gasoline, ammo and other supplies. Try to get back to your base before night starts. Zombies are more dangerous at night, and staying outside too long can cause the Hunter to appear.

• Put Turrets on High Pillars

Build a three-block-high pillar and put your Turret on top. Normal zombies cannot reach a Turret that is this high. Keep your walls repaired so zombies cannot easily get to your Turrets.

• Keep Away From Bloaters

Do not use a melee weapon against a Bloater. Bloaters explode when they die, so you can take damage if you are too close. Use a gun and keep your distance when fighting them.

• Kill Screamers Quickly

Try to kill a Screamer with one shot. If you leave it alive, it can scream and attract nearby zombies. Use a gun and aim carefully to take it down before it has a chance to call more zombies.
