Introduction

I have been playing video games since I was little and Mario Galaxy is by far one of the best games (if not the best game) I have ever played. The graphics are fun and inventive and the levels are challenging, yet beatable. This is also a great game for all ages. My little twin brothers are 11 and love this game and I am 27 and love this game just as much! (If not more...)

Graphics

The graphics are what make this game so exciting to play. I love how Mario can blast through the big Yellow stars and fly to different "planets" through out the galaxy. It is very imaginative which makes it very fun to play! The bosses are all unique as well as each planet and each level within each planet.

Sound

Sounds and special effects are what make games like this so much more fun to play. I love how every time you spin Mario, the sound of twinkling stars follows him. The best sounds and effects come on the levels where you defeat the "Bosses." My favorite is Bouldergeist. Beating him with only one life was a challenge!!

Gameplay

The game is creative, fun, exciting, challenging, yet beatable. I grew up playing Mario games; I have played Mario games from the very first Nintendo council to the newest Nintendo councils. I have played these games for nearly 22 years! Mario Galaxy is by far, one of my absolute most favorite games of all time! And although I also enjoy Mario Galaxy 2, there is nothing quite like the original.

Lastability

We have had this game since it first game out and it still works just as well as the day we bought it. I have beaten the game many times, but I still find myself starting a new game and playing through all the levels again. Each time it is just as fun and exciting as the first time!

Overall

This is a great game that I find myself playing over and over again!! Super Mario Galaxy 2 was also awesome, but there is nothing like the original. I have never played a game like Super Mario Galaxy and there isn't another Mario game that compares to this one. It is so different and unique, I am obsessed with it!
