Updated: 13th Sep 2023 by Team SuperCheats

You will be able to heal your character in Starfield by simply consuming a healing item. This can be done in two ways. You can either find the item in your inventory and consume it by pressing 'A' on your Xbox controller or 'E' on your keyboard if you are playing on PC. You can also consume the item from your quickslot inventory which is the quickest way to access them. This How to Heal guide will tell you everything you need to know about healing your character in Starfield.

There are a number of ways to heal in Starfield, from using medical items and food, to visiting the Med Bay or even creating a Medical Hub on your ship, here is a rundown with some instructions.

Get a Medical Hub on your Ship

Head to the Ship Technician and purchase the Nova Galactic Workshop and Science Lab 2x1 as well as giving you options to upgrade weapons, you'll also be able to craft your own medicine and healing items with these two ship upgrades.

Vist the Med Bay

Fast travel to the Mast District and make your way downstairs into the metro station, go to the left, enter the elevator and use the control panel to take you to The Well.

At The Well, you'll be able to find the Med Bay where O'Shea can help you with any health issues. As well as getting cured, you'll also be able to purchase loads of different medical supplies.
