Introduction

This game was a sequel to Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, the Game of the Year. It had a whole lot to live up to, and did it succeed? Did it live up to the hype? Was it pushed out a bit TOO early? Did the story go over well? We will see in this review!

Graphics

These graphics didn't look that much different for the first game's, but there were some points where I did think that the graphics had improved.

For example, the way the environment looked. The grass swayed realistically, the lights of the city lit up fantastically at night, it really made me appreciate all of the planets a whole lot more.

Overall, I give it a eight out of ten.

Sound

This game's sound didn't really wow me as much as I had hoped it would.

I look for a lot in a game's sound, and this one didn't impress me. It was streaky. In one section, great sound, in one section, weak sound. I really hate inconsistency in a game.

Overall, I will have to give this game's sound a six out of ten. It just didn't measure up for me.

Gameplay

This game's gameplay did not impress me much. I just didn't think it was any different or any better than the first game's, and in some parts, it was worse.

The story wasn't impressive, all you did was look for old Jedi Masters and help them survive, then once you rescue them all, they all try to kill you. Really?

I expected more, I WANTED more from this game. I waited for it so long, and then was disappointed by it. It was NOT one of the best games I've ever played. I thought it lacked any edge at all, and was surviving on the first game's success.

This game was pushed out early, and it came back to haunt them. This game was nowhere near finished. The worlds, you could tell, had parts cut off so the game could come out earlier. Some parts, the game was ridiculously hard. Sometimes, you could beat bosses without even looking at the screen. It was too varied, not steady in difficulty.

The final boss fight was just sad. It took my about two minutes. She used three floating lightsabers, who were stupid enough to split up if you ran in circles. Then you could kill them one by one, and win.

The boss herself was lame. I stood in one place and bashed her. This game's final boss had NOTHING on Malak in the first game.

Overall, I give it a six out of ten. BioWare, I am disappoint.

Lastability

Heh, I beat this game and uninstalled it. I, personally, don't think this game will last long at all. I was severely disappointed by it, and I put it away forever in shame.

I have a feeling that there a a few thousand people out there who feel just like me. I was just disappointed in this game, I didn't want to play it. I wanted to finish it and run away from it. I didn't want to play it.

It will last a little while, even with the people who love the game. It just isn't that great, in my mind. It is just...average. And compared to the original, this game flat out failed to measure up.

Overall, a six out of ten in Lastability.

Overall

This game didn't meet my Star Wars standards. In fact, it didn't meet my video game standards. I expected awesomeness...that isn't what I got.

Please, make a sequel to a outstanding game good, at least. Make there be points where I could tell it was the sequel to KotOR. I never thought I was playing a KotOR game. I thought I was playing a badly made game with laser guns and swords.

BioWare, I am severly disappoint. Overall, a six out of ten.
