The Main Menu Explained

At the start of the game only some of the main menu will be unlocked.

Across the Top

Across the top there is your settings icon and your level bar which shows your progress towards the next level.

On the Left

To the right at the top the display shows your playing resources. The lightning shows you how much playing energy you have, the chip shows you how many chips you have (to purchase upgrades etc...) And the purple crystal shows you how many crystals you have, these are used to purchase data cards, energy refreshed, shipment items and to reset some timers.

On the left is the characters icon, here you can find a listing of all of your current characters and all of the other characters that are available in the game and how many shards of each one you still need to collect before you can unlock them.

Below that is the sell items button where you can sell for credits any excess items that you don't want.

The Allies icon is below that and you can have up to 35 allies.

However at the time of writing I already have 35 allies! But you are welcome to add me.

Your game inbox is below that. You'll see are red circle with a number in it if you have a new message. It is where your daily awards from the game are sent so it is important to check if you want to collect these.

Finally in this column it is the achievements icon, which is a great place to collect tons and tons of in game bonuses and credits, even if you are not aware you are completing 'cheives, you find that you complete a heap of these just through normal gameplay.

Across The Bottom

At the bottom right of the main menu there is the Daily Activities green button. This is also a great way to get a good daily boost of resources by just playing the game. All of the activities are listed and once you have completed any a red circle with a number in it will appear to notify you to click the button and collect your prize.

In the Center

Here are where the main gameplay icons are located.

Events and Challenges

These change daily and are special challenges which utilise only certain members of your teams depending on the nature of the task. For example, healers only. You can pick you various items by completing these tasks, the task change when the time runs down.

Squad Cantina Battles

This section is unlocked later in the game, and allows you pit any 5 members of your team (dark or light) and a bonus character against the computer's team. The game does offer some tips as to how you should weight your team - eg defensive.

The awards in this section are usually related to upgrading your characters special abilities and the only place where you can find these upgrade materials.

Light Side Battles

These are the first battles that are unlocked in the game. Your team against the computer's. At the time of writing there are 345 light side battles to get through! You can play through the game in normal mode at the cost of 6 energy tokens. Once you have completed all of the levels in a block, eg 1A-1F, a corresponding set of hard levels are unlocked. There are much better possible rewards there including sometimes character shards.

Dark Side Battles

These become unlocked only after your player level has reached 12. You can't use your light side warriors here, only your dark side characters. This does make things tough as you will likely only have two or three to begin with. But at the beginning the battles are pretty easy and is a good way to help level up your characters.

Squad Arena

This is the player vs player section where you basically have to rise through the ranks to get better rewards, this section has it's own shipments section and currency where you can purchase shards which go towards unlocking characters.

Data Cards

Here is where you can spead real cold hard cash for items in the game, but it is also where you can spend crystals and get things for free. The data cards you get could be in-game items, shards towards a character or a whole character.

Shipments

Here you can purchase character shards, Training Droids and random pieces of inventory. There are achievements and Daily Activities which are related to you making purchases in this section, so as long as you have enough credits it is good to purchase the items which are available (I'm not talking the character shards - although if there is a particular character you want and have enough crystals - go for it!
