Full Review for Sonic Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood by Gontxven

Introduction

Yea so this is my first review for a video game so I might not be that good at it, anyway, this is the first Sonic RPG to hit the markets, I think..... I'm not quite sure..... Anyway it's very interesting to say the least. The involvement with the ds stylus was a nice touch, because, who wants a game that doesn't involve some form of a challenge right?

Graphics

The graphics were okay to me, I mean, they could have been a bit better with the POW moves graphics, but overall, they were pretty good.
The graphics did need a little improvement here and there but nothing out of the ordinary for a 3D nintendo ds game. I give the graphics a 7/10.

Sound

Sound was just plain amazing for the maps. I mean, the sounds were basically made to match the maps they were played on. The Metropolis one was very good, in detail it sounded like it fit a robot factory/city, which coincidentally, Metropolis was. I give the sound an 8/10.

Gameplay

Gameplay was just insane, I mean it was just amazing. Maybe that's just me. The stylus involvement really added a new challenge for players, especially when it came to the POW moves. The storyline was just amazing.
I would go into more detail, but then it would just be spoiling it. I give the gameplay a perfect 10/10.

Lastability

The game lasts for like, forever, I mean you can't believe it. Once you beat the game, it takes you back to the beginning for a new game +. What that means is, you get to keep everything you had (except for the characters) when you beat the game, and take them into a brand new game.
I give lastability a perfect 10/10.

Overall

I will just say this, best sonic game I have ever played. I can't wait for a sequel. The graphics were great, the sound was awesome, the gameplay and lastibility were just perfect. I would definitely recommend this to pretty much any sonic fan out there.
On an overall score, I give this game a 10/10.
