Welcome to my review of Sonic Adventure 2: Battle. I have decided to write this because this game has been heavily underestimated. I'm here to prove in depth how good this game really is. I love this game a lot, and I'm here to tell you why you must have it.
I give this an 8 out of 10 because I believe that this has probably one of the best graphics for a Gamecube Sonic game. The character models are well animated and the terrains are highly detailed. These graphics are smooth, but not too realistic, which is what Sonic should be.
I give this a 7 out of 10 because the soundtrack of this game is just amazing. I'm not saying the voice actors were very good (<.<), but I am saying that the music from this game rocks. The music I don't like is the music from Knux and Rouge's levels.
This gameplay is one of the best out there. There are three ways to play and more. One type of level is a traditional speedy Sonic Adventure-style level. In these you play as either Sonic or Shadow. You can use tons of abilities, such as Light Dash, Spin Dash, Homing Attack, etc. You can also be Eggman or Tails in a shooting level. One more way to play is Treasure Hunt. These aren't as fun, and take much longer.
There's lot's to do in this game. From Emblem collecting, to Chao Raising, to Ranks, this game will keep you on your toes for probably at least a year. Chao Garden is the most time consuming part of the game. There's a ton of ways to raise your chao.
This game is sheer awesomeness. The music, the gameplay, the graphics... Will all make you think the same. This game is a must-have for owners of the Cube. Sonic has released one of the best titles to ever grace the humble Nintendo Gamecube. Get this game. Go!
