How do I get out of vanilla ghost house ? (on SNES)

The ghosts will follow you if you turn away from them but when you look at them they turn into blocks....they are harmless when they turn to blocks further on there is a door on a ledge to high to jump and somewhat too risky to fly... Use the ghost like a staircase... Hope this helps
Get a feather then fly, but be careful as boos can turn you back to ordinary mario. If not, use the block boos to jump at them. Note that they will become blocks when you turn at them.
