What are the Weapons?

Listed below are the weapons the main characters use to fight enemies and monsters during the game.

Crescent Rose

Crescent Rose is Ruby Rose's signature weapon. It is a High-Caliber Sniper-Scythe (HCSS) - a hybrid between a scythe and a sniper rifle. In melee combat, Ruby can fire a shot immediately before a swing, using the recoil to increase the force and speed of her attack. She can also embed the scythe's blade into the ground to prevent the weapon's recoil from throwing off her aim with the sniper rifle component, allowing for rapid, accurate shots. Crescent Rose is able to use different kinds of Dust ammunition.

Gambol Shroud

Gambol Shroud is classified as a 'Variant Ballistic Chain Scythe' (VBCS) and is the weapon of Blake Belladonna. The pistol is used as a ranged weapon and its recoil can be used to swing or anchor the blade. Specialised Dust cartridges can be inserted into Gambol Shroud to modify Blake's Semblance, changing her Shadows into more than just mere afterimages.

Ember Celica

Ember Celica are Yang Xiao Long's signature weapons. They are a pair of Dual Ranged Shot Gauntlets (DRSG). Similar to Ruby Rose with Crescent Rose, Yang uses Ember Celica for both attack and mobility, punching enemies and firing shots at them or using the recoil from the explosions to propel her great distances. Inside each gauntlet are chambers that holster a magazine consisting of 12 shells, giving the weapons 24 shots in total when both gauntlets are fully loaded.

Myrtenaster

Myrtenaster is Weiss Schnee's signature weapon. It is a Multi Action Dust Rapier (MADR) that acts as a source for Weiss' power. This weapon has six slots, each of which contains a vial of Dust. During combat Weiss utilises raw Dust by inserting vials of powdered Dust into Myrtenaster's revolving chamber and then either releasing the Dust onto Myrtenaster's blade or combining it with her Semblance. Myrtenaster contains yellow, blue, red, cyan, purple, and white Dust.

Crocea Mors

Crocea Mors is Jaune Arc's signature weapon. The sword itself is a simple longsword which Jaune is able to transform the sheath into a heater shield for combat. Both the sword and shield are incredibly durable.

Magnhild

Magnhild s Nora Valkyrie's signature weapon. It is a large hammer, with the secondary form of a grenade launcher. When in grenade launcher form, Magnhild fires canisters of pink Dust.

StormFlower

StormFlower is Lie Ren's signature weapon and consists of a pair of automatic pistols with sickle-like blades attached vertically under the barrels. The blades are incredibly strong and sharp.
