Introduction

This is my first ever review for SuperCheats so bare with me =)
I have been playing RuneScape for some 4 years and I believe I have a substansial knowledge of the game and I will try not to be completely biased. RuneScape is developed by a UK developer called "Jagex" spearheaded by Andrew Gower; the mastermind behind the hit that is RuneScape.

Graphics

I may as well be blunt. The graphics are terrible. For a game that runs in your web browser however and requires no downloading at all, the game has substantial graphics if you take into account the size of the world and that the amount of people that interect with the world.

Sound

Worst. Music. In. A. Game. Ever.

Jagex can't really be blamed for it as the game is played in the web browser, but quite frankly the music is terrible. I would prefer it without music honestly. Forunately theres an option to turn the music off so I can listen to my own music =P

Gameplay

RuneScape is addictive. It may not be as addictive as World of Warcraft but when you get hooked, you can sit there grinding your levels for hours before you realize you forgot to eat. The game is fun for awhile, but higher levels make the game less appealing; It can take hours to get just one level when you get good. Free to player players (People that don't pay) are unfortunate as FTP words are full to the brim of scammers and n00bs.

Lastability

Well it's an MMORPG so there is pretty much always something to do on it. There are loads of mini games, and heaps of other activities you can participate in with other players. Such as Castle Wars- a capture the flag style event or PKing, i.e Player Killing which can be done on FTP and PTP but is very dangerous as you can be killed and lose your items.

Overall

Overall I would rate it 8/10. There are better games out there (World of Warcraft for example) but if your on a strict budget and still want to play an MMO, RuneScape should suit your every need. There is usually always something to do in RuneScape and you are bound to enjoy the game.
