Introduction

RS2 is a pretty decent MMORPG seeing that it is free. It doesn't compare with world of warcraft or anything, but if you like RPG's, it'll do the trick. There are bosses, skills, quests, etc. To do, and there are friends to be made in RuneScape, so here's my review ;)

Graphics

The graphics are probably the only really "bad" thing about the game. They have been updated a bunch so that now they don't quite suck as much. The graphics are about 1/3 or less of that of WoW's but this is still much cheaper and you don't have to install anything.

Sound

The sounds are alright, but most people will find the music kind of annoying, and turn them off. The noises for fighting are really pointless though, they are just like someone tapping a pencil on your laptop every time you hit a monster, like I said, kind of annoying.

Gameplay

Gameplay is excellent. There is an endless list of things to do in runescape, F2P or P2P. There are quests, skills, lvls, bosses, etc. So there is never a reason to get bored. There are always goals to achieve and money to be made, also the bosses are incredible. There aren't many bosses in F2P though :(

Lastability

This game will last forever, of course once you get high enough lvls you will want to upgrade to P2P, which is totally worth it if you play 4+ hours a day. You do however get bored of it from time to time, most of the time you either quit or stop for like 1 month to 1 year.

Overall

Over all I give this game a 9, sure it doesn't even come close to WoW, but it will give you hours upon hours of entertainment. A lot of people do not appreciate this game because they play "real" games, like COD, MW2, etc., but that is because runescape isn't a shooter: it's an MMORPG, completely different gaming style. So I really recommend you try it.
