There are three different endings in RoboCop: Rogue City and the one that you will ultimately get after defeating the Old Man final boss will be based on the relationships you built up with the main characters of the game. How to Unlock Endings

Once you have defeated the robot known as the Old Man in the OCP building at the final point of the story you will be faced with a decision that will determine the ending you get.

Some stone pillars will fall on the body of the defeated robot as it lays immobile engulfed in flames, pinning it under rubble. Before everything comes down you have to decide whether to spare the Old Man boss, leave him to die, or kill the robot.

• Spare the Old Man (Good Ending)

  Deciding to spare the Old Man will lead to the bad ending of RoboCop: Rogue City. A short cutscene will play where RoboCop refuses to abandon the Old Man as he pulls him from the rubble and certain death. Old Man then sacrifices himself by pushing RoboCop away to protect him from falling debris.

  You will then see how RoboCop manages to escape from the crumbling building. After this, you will see some news reports where you will learn the fate of some characters you have met during the game.

• Leave the Old Man (Bad Ending)

  If you decide to leave the Old Man to die, refusing to help when he pleads with RoboCop to save him he will reach out one last time and be killed instantly when he is crushed by a pile of rubble that falls on top of him.

  A cutscene will then play which is similar to the 'Spare the Old Man' ending with RoboCop emerging unscathed from the collapsing building that destroys everything in the surrounding area. In this ending the characters you dealt with during the game will have difficult and tragic destinies.

• Kill the Old Man (Worst Ending)

  Select the 'Kill Him' option for RoboCop to ruthlessly finish off the Old Man by thrusting a reinforcing bar through his adversaries's hand, causing him to spark, smoke, and eventually shut down.

  The cutscene and fate of the other characters you dealt with during the game remain basically the same as the 'Leave the Old Man' ending, there are very few differences.

Regardless of what ending you choose, the game's conclusion reveals that Old Man manages to survive the encounter. RoboCop continues his role as a protector of Old Detroit clearing the streets of criminals. The Mayor however refuses to grant him human rights.
