Get Free Gems

Rivengard has a 'refer and earn' system that enables you to get free gems by sharing a unique referral code with your friends. To see your unique referral code you simply have to tap the gear icon that is located in the top-right corner of the screen and select the 'Refer a Friend' option. This unique code can then be shared with your friends providing you are connected to Google Play Games or Gamecenter. Whenever your friends then submit the code in the 'Refer a Friend' menu you will earn gems and other rewards.

Unlock New Content

In order to unlock more content in Rivengard you must raise your power score. Your power score is determined by the collective strength of all the heroes you have collected so far and to raise it you basically need to strengthen up the heroes you have acquired. It is important that you do this as it not only unlocks new content it also upgrades the quality of the rewards you receive from the chests which can potentially make your progression through the game easier.

Use your Abilities at the Right Moment

In Rivengard each of your heroes have an active ability and a passive ability that are both available to use from the start of a battle. Your active ability can only be used once during a battle and using it will make your hero unusable for that turn. Remember that your active ability is powerful and can completely change the outcome of a battle, so it is crucial that you use it at the right moment. The passive ability of your hero works differently, it must first be unlocked by meeting a requirement but can always be called upon.

Take Advantage of Special Tiles

The map of Rivengard is a grid of hexagonal tiles which are littered with randomly placed tiles that either restrict your heroes movement or gives them some kind of effect whenever someone stands on it. These tiles are listed below:

- Burning Tile

Unless your hero is explicitly immune to fire they will take damage each turn the tile is on fire, and they are standing on it.

- Healing Tile

This tile will heal anyone who is standing on it at the start of a turn.

- Thorn Tile

Anyone who steps on this particular tile will be slowed down and take extra damage.

- Bush Tile

Stepping on this tile reduces incoming damage and does not restrict movement.

Make sure you take into consideration that the terrain plays a role in the strategic gameplay as some tiles will be on different elevations and difficult to reach for certain heroes. It is therefore important that you make a note of these tiles and the heroes you have to determine if the location of the tiles in question will be a problem during the battle.

Always Use the x10 Summons

You have the option of using the summoning portal once or x10 times. Providing you have the required shards it is recommended that you always choose the x10 option as doing so will guarantee at least one Epic or Legendary-tier reward. Aside from heroes you will also be able to get equipment and resources at the summoning portal.

Forge Weapons and Armor to Increase their Stats

Weapons and armor in Rivengard must be forged in order to increase their stats. This requires gold and item dust which is mainly acquired by dissolving unused weapons and armor. This process will also refund any gold used to upgrade them. There will be some weapons and armor that require your hero to be a certain rarity before you are able to forge them. You can increase the rarity of your Heroes by using laurels which can be accessed through the shop either by using gems, the games premium currency or found in chests.
