Introduction

Well to be honest the story is a little simple but is so imaginative and intriguing. Its the 1950s and Europe has been struck by a unknown killer virus. The virus spreads rapidly through Europe, the only place left is England. They are safe for a little while but soon enough the Chimera (creatures infected with the virus) burrow under the channel and reach British soil. Thats were you come in. You play as Sgt. Nathan Hale, not a war hero with one wish to deffend the human race, just a quiet american soldier with a buzz-cut and a strange reaction to the Chimerian virus (he is the first person to wake up after being infected and finds him self with some Chimerian abilities that help you a shed load throughout the game). You get sent in to help the British troops to fight back the Chimera and get them the hell out of England.

Graphics

The graphics are amazing, and war torn Britain has never looked so good. They are probably the best on the PS3 so far. In SD the graphics and picture are... Pretty good and on HD the graphics are amazing but not as amazing as SONY predicted. But every explosion, cloud of dust, shrapnal from a grenade will startle and amaze you...

Sound

The sound is great, and plays a key part in this game, from every drum beat keeping you on edge to the sound of your rifle firing across your screen will make you feel like you are there. A great thing is the kind of "erie" moments in the game with that creepy music we all love to hate. Also there are some great British accents to look forward to.

Gameplay

The gameplay is full of Action (<---------- and thats with a capital A). The edge of your seat will be flat for months after you play this game. The amount of weapons in the game will blow you away, well the Chimera away at that. They are practically virtual toys with every weapon meant for destruction. The story line has a decent length with a range of diffrent missions to driving a range of vihicles (chimerian and human) to running and gunning around the streets of the English cities. But the online play is the real deal, with a range of matches to play and a great stat ranking system, the PS3 has it's first online hit.

Lastability

Well the story line will last you aboyt 3 days to complete but on the more challenging difficulties were there is more weapons to unlock it could take you about 2 weeks for the whole single player game. But the online play is great and you will be playing that for months. And with the recent network update that connects to the whole world, it's twice as good.

Overall

Overall this game is a must buy for any FPS fan with a PS3. Its probably one the best games yet to be made with a great story line and kick @!* online play. Hopfully they will make a number 2 that is more action packed than the first (that would be hard to achieve). But overall this is a game worth playing and paying $500 or �420 for. Some of you may not like this game, but you have to damn right respect it.
