Question for Need for Speed Most Wanted 5-1-0

When you defeat a boss you can go back to it and there will be a bonus race. If you win you unlock a bonus part.I was wondering if anyone knew what the bonus parrt did?

Sometimes the bonus part adds speed to your car or it just makes your car look good.

The bonus part are spoilers or windows... Anyway they are not something worth searching. Do the bonus race and go on with the other races.
