I've tried to clear the mission but I always fail to do so. What weapon should I take to at least defend my fortress ?

I advice of using a great sword with dragon attribute of 220 or above, take with you items that raise attacks

Hi I had the same problem. 2 beat ash loa you need a weapon with very high attack or dragon element. I tried using 'fire ds(LS)' but failed so I made the 'guardian sword(LS)'. It has 900+ attack and if you kep on hammering his head in ( in spirit blade mode ) you should be able to beat him. Don't waste time trying to jump on his back becuase he has lots of health , use every second to hit him

If it's online get friends and use whatever you can use to beat him to a bloody pulp. Maybe the onslaught hammer would work. I really don't know. I used the daora delphinidae lv5 wiht my bro and his bud. I can't beat him on my own still ;(
