Hey, The black grav is pretty tough at first but can be made simple with the right equipment and items. I recommend taking a good lance with green sharpness like the babel spear or ogre tusk so you can hit it's belly from below. You should take trap tools and nets and when it's trapped place the bombs next to it's chest and this will blow away it's chest armour leaving it weak to your attacks. Flash bomns are good too.
