I NEED HELP!

You have to kill something special so that the old lady can trust you. After so long she will give you the last one.
Best weapon of all is the lance, great defence and good attack.

First of all, to get 5 cat cooks you need to complete the urgent quest 'Horn of the Monoblos' which you get after completing all but one of the ***** quests (usually it's the carrying quests as they pose the most difficulty). After completing this you can get 5 cats in the kitchen.

Secondly the best SnS I would say you could get easily (as long as you have money and patience) is Eternal Strife with a BIG dragon attribute (630) but I would only use the against wyverns very prone to dragon damage as it only has 112 raw damage. It's good for taking out Azura/Pink/Normal Rathian and Rathalos and for doing 'Giant Wyvern Invasion' later in the game. You will need money as it will set you back about 58500z and 120 Earth Crystals. Get the Earth Cystals doing the **** desert gathering quest in the guild hall and mine area 6 and repeat the quest once all mining spots are empty. As for money, do a Jungle Menace if you can easily kill a Elder Kut-Ku and sell stuff you get from the corpse and rewards.

Monster Bone+ is VERY annoying to get in large numbers, you will mostly get from rewards for **** guild quests again Kut-Ku but I can only confirm that you get from 'Storm of the Yian Kut-Ku' and 'Attack of the Yian Kut-Ku' as I've only got from these two quests. Best chances of getting it lie doing 'Attack..' where you must fight a Blue Yian Kut-Ku on hard difficulty meaning it has almost double health. Once you kill it, carve it and hopefully you will get a Small Blue Kut-Ku Ear (hopefully more than 1) and you could get monster bone+ in rewards. If you did get Small Blue Kut-Ku Ear then go on any gathering quest in forest and hills and trade them with the elder in zone 7 for Monster Bone+ as well. Repeat until you have the amount you need.

Finally, there is no 'best' weapon in the game or best weapon type to use in the game although some weapons aren't as powerful as they were in the previous MH like Lance and Hammer although still very good. Choose a weapon that best suits your style. SnS a good choice if you want defence and attack with moderate damage. GS are if you like power but with some defensive capability. Hammers are for the person who idea of defense is overpowering offensive. Dual swords are for continuous damage and fast movement while Lances are for the person who wants to keep themselves covered while attacking.

Don't pick a weapon type when wanting to take down a wvyern, choose a weapon that will hit the monsters weak point (aka attribute that will be most effective against it). Look at other guides for a list of their weaknesses.

If you use dual swords make sure to bring mega juices they make it way easier to kill the dragon(mega juice is well done steak + power extract,you get the extract form Gypceros) and while you are in deamonization wind has zero effect on you so you can start attacking when they first land. SnS is a good choice because you can get them with nearly every attribute while still having a decent offense and defence.

You can have the Felyne cook (THE FIFTH) when you cleared the 5TH LEVEL Urgent quest (A TROUBLESOM PAIR NEED TO KILL RATHIAN AND RATHALOS)I'll give you a hint bring some max potion and ancient(And this is the TRICKY PART DON'T EVER FIGHT THE 2 PAIR OR YOU WILL BE ALWAYS KILLED CAUSE RATHALOS IS KING OF THE SKIES AND RATHIAN IS THE QUEEN OF THE LAND)When you have the strongest defense like mine when I'm HR1 I KILLED THEM 2 WITH NO DEATH I RECOMMEND YOU THE HERMITAUR ARMOR AND PUT SOME DEFENSE JEWEL AND GUARD JEWEL SO YOU CAN HAVE THE BEST DEFENSE AND YEAH YOU'LL HAVE YOU'RE FELYNES VEGGIES IF YOU WANT TO SURVVE.
