Get raw meat and then use the spit wait 2 seconds until after the music stops and press X to get Well-Done Steaks(anytime after will get burnt meat,before will get rare meats.)

All you have to do is get a BBQ spit. Have it in your inventory and go to a place outside of your base camp. Then press and hold the L button and press either the square of the circle button to get to the BBQ spit. Let go of the L button then press the square button to activate it. You must have raw meat with you in order for it to work.
