How do you beat gene, and when I'm online I see people hiding in the walls how do they do that?

I think that it must be a glitch in their games so sorry you will have to deal with it! To beat Gene wait until he is about to strike then shoot and when he charges up run up the stairs and he will hit the wall and not you, then shoot! (Whatever you do don't shoot randomly because he dodges and throws knifes at you which can do a lot of damage!)

I think you mean that they crouch into the air shaft. There's no use in doing it because Gene hides and you can't hit him. Just make sure you have a machine gun (I use the scorpion), amo for the gun, health, and rations. Dodge or run from his attacks. Don't shhot unless he just charged at you and is bent over or if he is making the screen all purpley and taking your stamina.

To beat Gene, shoot him after he's done throwing his knives or in between if you can hit him. The easiest way for me is to dodge his power take down move, when he misses turn around and drill him in the back.
