How do you defeat Maleficent in Ventus' story?I just can't seem to defeat her...

Here's a few tips:
1: When she shoots lightning at you, dodge roll to the side (obviously).
2: Don't attack her too much in one swoop, as she might smack you with her staff.
3: When she teleports to the center and says something about sleep, look for the red, green, and blue orbs swirling in circles. If you can, get over there and do their reaction command. This will give you some 5 seconds to hit her. If you can't reach the orbs, then just jump over the shockwaves.
4: When a bunch of lightning bolts are hitting the ground, dodge roll around and hope you don't get hit.
5: Having a Cure command (or better yet, Cura) will drastically help your survival chances.
