Question for Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep
How do you defeat Maleficent Dragon in Enchanted Dominion?! (Aqua's story)
I can get to the bit where she starts flying around easily, but then when I press [square] with Phillip and get onto her back, I fall off (even when I don't attack her) and land miles away from Phillip so that she just does the green fire over and over and I die.
Help much appreciated!! X

This really shouldn't happen. You should land on her back and immediately start attacking her. She'll eventually fall to the ground stunned.
To avoid the fire it's best to use guard or cartwheel out of the way. And if you get damaged, use one of your cure spells.
To avoid even more damage and cause damage in return, use your Shotlock on her.

When she starts flying around continually press the square button to block her attacks. When she lands go behind her on the left side and attack her leg it may take a while but it will work... At least that how I won.

Well, when you get on to her back, start attacking like crazy.. Then after that, you really have to fall, wait for her shadow to appear in the ground, she's going to slam on you, and dodge it, cartwheel near her leg and attack,. Once she starts flying around again, phillip has to be there already, get near him and press square, attack again and again while your on her back flying around.. Then you'll fall again, then cartwheel near her leg (at her side) then attack, thats what I did, hope it helps

How you beat dragon when she flys: go to prince and go through the action of landing on her back then attack like crazy then when you fall off DO NOT go toward the prince go toward the dragon when she lands she'll hurt you a bit but not to bad and she will spew fire since you are behind her she can't hurt you then the prince will meet you there and you can attack then you can repeat the steps I have just told you :3 how do I know? I tried it and have not failed!

The trick for the fire is to be BEHIND Prince Phillip. When he shouts "NOW!" make sure you're near him and get behind him. If you are on the side of him or in front, it's harder to avoid the fire. He is shielding the fire, so behind him you'll have some space without the fire. Then of course, square for the reaction command and "X" for "Selfless Prince".
