It's one of the shoulder buttons, isn't it?
Go practice fight (where it shows which buttons you press at the bottom) and try the shoulder buttons at the top of your PSP.
It's a special attack that differs from each character and to use you have to press the button square and the button X at the same time. P.s.: R means regular attack and G means guard ;)
