Hydarnes problem/glitch

I am at the part where Hydarnes is on top of his cage, he threw a couple of red then blue things at me, I killed the immortals, but now he just stands there, is there something I need to do for him to attack or call for more immortals?!?

Yeah, you need to get his arms stuck, hide behind the pillars and he will get his spiderman style wrist mounted (yeah in Greek mytology, honest) grapple hooks stuck the the pillars.
Once one arm is stuck he's actually stupid enough to try the same tactic if you move to the other side.
Frankly by this point he deserves to have a spear lobbed at his nether regions, so do it.
So you think he'd learn from that mistake, but no, he sort of liked it in a masochistic way and he'd like it if you'd do it all again, just one more time, then he promises to be good and lie down for the big sleep.

It's nice of them to put the spears so near to the pillars that you can hide behind. You can use as many as you want you can always take one with you when you leave. I bet you can do it without getting a scratch.
