By "regions", it refers to the six regions of FIFA, which include of: AFC region in Asia, CAF in Africa, CONCACAF Football Confederation in North and Central America / Caribbean, CONMEBOL in South America, UEFA in Europe and the OFC in Oceania. Play and win against a team of each of these regions and you should get awarded 750,000 population as well as a plane. (Note: some of these teams/regions can only be found in "Rest of Europe" or "Rest of World" categories, so look carefully. Good luck)

The reason that they disappear is there is a time limit to signing them - you need to stay on top of that. Optimally you should approach the player BEFORE the contract expires to renew it.

Just go into kick off mode and connect another controller. Then choose the desingated side, team and stadium.

Go into the calendar and you should be able to schedule training sessions and friendlies there. If not, then maybe you will be able to do them before the season starts.

If you are playing Fifa on the Wii, then do this:

To restart your Fifa 12 City, press the home button and go to the Wii Menu. Then on the bottom left there is a circle that says Wii. Click that, and go to Data Management, then Save Data. Click on Wii. Then find your Fifa 12 in the list of apps and click on the icon. Then you see Erase. Click on that. Then go back to the Wii Menu after all the data from Fifa 12 was erased. Then go into your Fifa game and the whole game will start from the beginning, so then you can restart the whole game from "Factory Mode" where no data is loaded. The data that was erased can not be recovered from the SD card, so after you delete the data, it is all gone forever. I did this on my own and it worked. Hope this works for you, too.
